I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.”

Delightfully delicious candles and candleholders
With quatrefoil being the pattern du jour, you can easily give a little nod to the trend with this chic hurricane lamp. The gently mottled style glass means you can't see 100% through - so when a candle is lit within, the shadows and hues created are magical. A pair of these beautifully crafted candle holders either end of a mantelpiece, a shelf, dining table or at the side of the bed will be sure to add a chic, luxury and romantic style.

French Beauty in Pink Velvet
We were tasked with imagining our dream bed, so we did just that and The Sacré Coeur was born. The epitome of elegance, the stunningly hand carved, gilt mahogany frame is highlighted by the blush pink, luxurious velvet button upholstery.

Dolce does Dolce
Dolce Design Studio is known for high-end floral and event design. Their recent work was inspired by couture fashion week, and even attracted the interest of Dolce & Gabbana! The famous design house contracted them for a holiday collection called “Dolce does Dolce” to be artfully displayed in their Beverly Hill’s store window. Here’s a look at their holiday collection that was inspired by the design work they did for Dolce & Gabanna.
Color Crush
This beautiful home appears to have come together so naturally. The light, colour, textures and pattern play right off one another. Make no mistake this is the partnership of a brilliant designer and a talented photographer. The colours that pop and make the magic happen are just a few simple accessories, pillows and flowers. They could easily be swapped for other punchy colours and patterns, and still have the desired affect. The base colour throughout the home are neutral shades of green, gray, and linen. The furnishings are accented with beautiful details like curves and contrasting finishes. The result is crisp and so polished.

The eyelet of the beholder
’Tis the season for lightweight fabrics and delicate details, and we’re tickled to see all the options for fashion and home that include eyelet. A quintessentially romantic technique, eyelet softens the edges of a room and adds a layer of visual interest.
The origins of eyelet are a bit sketchy, but it seems to have been developed in Europe as an offshoot of traditional cutwork sometime in the 1700s. It’s made by creating a tone-on-tone pattern (historically white thread on white fabric or ivory thread on ivory fabric, but these days, any color goes) of closely placed buttonhole stitches, and then carefully cutting away the fabric inside the holes. The resulting lacelike effect has both dimension and texture. Patterns vary widely, from miniscule florals to large modern geometrics.
Awesome Annie Selke
Ooh turquoise and pink, you always make my heart so happy!! Can I tell you how much I love this room designed by Annie Selke?! I get such a cozy, intimate vibe from the space...I just want to grab that throw and curl up on the velvet sofa! And how about that amazing ottoman?! Not only is is drop dead gorgeous, but I love that its huge size allows for plenty of extra seating. You can read more about the space right here:

Oh, this awesome beach house, and the view! Spectacular.
The panoramic view of the ocean is the focal point of this incredible beach home in Bethany Beach, Delaware built by Dewson Construction Company! Some serious cred must also be given to Bruce Palmer Design Studio and the architectural firm Olivieri, Shousky & Kiss.
Rustic country house
I feel like we don't see a lot of rustic country homes using turquoise, but interior designers Carolyn Tierney and Diane Susoev of ECOterior Solutions are showing how it's done in this Dutchess County, New York farmhouse renovated by Crisp Architects and photographed by Rob Karosis.
